This is actually the whole reason I made this blog. To show the world how much of a momma’s boy I am
I love ya Mom from Macau! Can’t wait till I get back all the way home, I miss you guys!
Got the hotel issues sorted out and although I don’t have access to my computer with the pictures on it, I just wanted to say how amazing the performance in Macau felt. We spent one day choreographing everything, one day helping them set it all up, and one day for the rehearsals and the performance. And we nailed it! All of the boxes were close together for this one as we had a smaller room to do it in, but I think that ended up making it easier for everyone to see. We did a bit of three person choreography and a bit of two person with one resting and the combination worked amazingly.
The entrance was my favorite part, we came in from the ceiling down! You’ll have to wait and see the video for the full effect but it was quite the impressive entrance believe me. I should get going, but I’ll get the pictures up and more info in LA most likely, which means another fun 14 hour flight!
Shit, apparently we aren’t paid for tonight and everyone but Frosti’s card doesn’t work! So we’re camped out in his room attempting to fend off housekeeping, armed only with our K-Swiss and nothing to eat except a moldy banana and $10 beers, until later tonight when The Money comes in from China. We were supposed to check out a measly 6 hours ago and apparently they feel we should should pay or something, all that is certain is that the pounding on our door can only mean one thing, it is time to take a stand and fight for our honor…THIS IS SPARTA!!!
Sandy Beaches and Giant Buddhas
I’m lagging behind on the blog front and I apologize. Our focus recently is on our upcoming performance in Macau, but we have been doing some touristy type stuff in the meantime. Tuesday we went down to a place called Stanley to check out the beaches and stores. Not much there really but some good time to relax. Wednesday (today for me still), we went to Lantau to check out the largest outdoor bronze statue of Buddha…it’s a really big statue…not much else to say.
We spent a lot of time today re-choreographing our performance for Macau. Continue Reading »
This time in Washington DC! It’s 3:15am in the morning and I’m doing something I’ve always wanted to, sleeping in a gym! Seriously, one of my fantasies is to just live in my own gymnastic gym someday, that would be so sweet
This gym is close to my dream gym though as it is one of the only gyms dedicated to Parkour and Crossfit-style training, Primal Fitness.
I’ll head from here in a week to Hong Kong to do a performance for a product unveiling (it’s a surprise), then off to Macau for an encore, then off to LA for a sweet stunt gig separate from the performance. In total I’ll be gone for a month straight, prob the longest I’ve ever really been away from home.
But I got to get to sleep because Jesse is supposedly going to whup our asses in the morning with a special Primal Fitness workout
I’ll let you know how it goes.
As it seems to happen a lot with stuntwork, I have about 3 days left in town and I still don’t even know my schedule. I do know that I have a possibility of three stunt gigs in a row and could be traveling from Seattle to Tokyo to Washington DC to Hong Kong to Macau to LA and back home again. This is going to be a crazy month of performances, training, and long flights.
I’m definitely bringing my new Canon 30D though, hopefully uploading pictures and blogging the whole time! Check back often for more updates!
