Parkour Training - One Step at a Time
Progression with control does come not quickly. If a movement is difficult, break it down into simpler steps. If a movement is too big, find a way or a place that makes it smaller. That is how you progress safely, one step at a time.
It’s nice to see that even really amazing traceurs follow the same idea in their training even when they are doing things that still scare the shit out of me (kongs to railing precisions). Thanks DC from Team Traceur!

Excellent video had a laugh though when I realized he is using the same shoes as the ones I was showing you last night. To bad the rubber isn’t grippier.

hey nice job Dude! I recently tried to do something very risky. I did it in the first time and when i did it again a fall and thank god i’m ok now. Well… not really ok… i cant do many moves with my right arm , my foot is in pain and almost the half of my bones are in pain (it was 3 metres high). So what about this? That you do it the first time and then you cant… cause now i’m pretty freaked out and i really dont wanna do this agian
.
This video isn’t me actually, it’s DC, but it is very good. Don’t rush your healing man, but work on focusing and committing 100% every time on smaller stuff for awhile.
i’ll do this and if it works i’ll tell. Dont worry i wont forget :D.

hey, im 13 years old, and i like this video, but sometimes i get scared that i might injure myself really badly, like 3:01 to 4:10 seemed hard, but the rest is all good, thanksfor making this video, im going to start as soon as possible
i’m 15. I started parkour, it seems easy, but i still need to learn how to backflip and i need to get more flexible, and also need to build more muscle. Does anyone know a good place in britain to parkour???
im 12 and i think parkour / free running is good but my mate did it and i watched and he jump on to this thing and it caslapsed but lucky he is okay now
but i cant do any free running / parkour things cud some on email me on Skully-Meister@live.co.uk for help
Lots of preteens posting on your site lol…
Anyway… I’ve gotten together with a group of people and we train for this stuff at night. There is a really cool park we were using, but unfortunately you have to either be under age 13, or have a 13 year old with you to enter. So yesterday I brought my kid brother in with us, and we did some cool stuff. They have a castle that’s about 10 feet high with little window slits that is great for wall scaling.
hay i am 12 years old and i like pk very much i would like to learn all stuffs from youtube till my 15 and i need some guide, so im asking for someone who’s good at parkour to tell me some damn good guide, and im willing to do everything it requests i almost broke my neck in backyard trying to do backflip
There is a lot you can learn from the internet (try sites other than youtube though!) but really I’d suggest searching for experienced people in your local community to learn from.
Yea I am 15 and I have watched PK for almost three years and have always wanted to do some style of “Free Running” as my friends like to call it.The hole problem with that though is I could never really lern how to start training and working my way up to this kind of stuff. So now I come to my question.
Is there any way I could find a trainer and or gym based around all free running that would help me progress and get rid of a lot of the fears I have when it come to a lot of these moves?
I am ready to be commited to this stuff I just need to find a person and place to help me lern,Advance, train, and keep myself motivated so I stay in shape.
Most likely, where you based Jay?
