I've definately been there before. One thing that has helped me tremendously is a book called "The Power of NOW." The author is Eckhart Tolle, and you can find it on Amazon for cheap. The book has actually helped me out with my mindset in regards to my parkour training. Check it out and tell me what you think...

I'm the same way tonight boyo. I've been out training at gasworks and it was so peaceful. I don't know what I'd do if they decided to tear it down. I think tomorrow I'm going to bring clean up gear for the shoot and do a little before we get to filming parkour, just to get the idea out there. What do you think?

I know that the phrase "train of thought" has been around for a while, but man...my thoughts really move like trains. They take a while to gain momentum (for me to start really caring), but once they start moving, they don't stop. Whether it's an interesting pattern over some scale on the trumpet, or a piece of art i'm working on....it's always on my mind. If it's the trumpet pattern that i'm working on, i'll find myself moving my fingers--practicing the pattern--while i'm doing other things....I don't even realize it most of the time! Sometimes i'll even think of a solution to an artistic problem in the middle of a conversation with somebody...i'll just go "--Oh, DUH!" And scurry over to my sketchbook or something.

It has definitely kept me up at night though, so I know how you feel. The brakes on my train of thought must be really worn down.
