The Most Dangerous Job Award Goes To…

Man, we have been working our asses off preparing for this performance. We’ve been there hours ahead of call-times and even started a few days before official paid rehearsals. The show we choreographed is absolutely sick, the timing, the build-ups, it’s all perfect. Unfortunately about half of it no one may ever get to see.

Taurus Stunt Awards!

Today we went to Paramount Studios and got everything choreographed and locked down. This is going to be an amazing show, and everyone will be able to see it on AMC TV because it’s for the Taurus World Stunt Awards! Somewhere in-between the explosions, pirates, car wrecks, and The Rock we are doing an 8 person 2 minute performance across roofs, an armored car, a crane, and like a jewelry store or something… Bah just look at the pictures:

Internet Woes

I’ve been piggybacking off of random networks for the past few days and all of my image uploads seem to fail. I don’t want to write up about the performance without the pictures of the amazing set so you all will just have to wait.

I will say though that the show is at Paramount Studios which is a very awesome place on the inside :)

Long Flight V2

Sweet, free wifi in HK airport! In about 10min we’re flying to Taipei on a 2 hour flight, waiting 2 more hours, then boarding a 12 hour flight to LA. Not actually as bad as it was to get here, but still pretty long as I forgot my Dawkins book in DC. I watched five movies in a row on the way over here, hopefully they will have different ones on this flight…

Oh well, I’m jazzed to get back to the US, where I can actually call and IM people without being ten hours behind. And the performance in LA is sounding like it’s going to be amazing! But I’m not sure if I’m allowed to tell anyone yet!

Happy Mother's Day Mom!

This is actually the whole reason I made this blog. To show the world how much of a momma’s boy I am ;) I love ya Mom from Macau! Can’t wait till I get back all the way home, I miss you guys!

Mercedes Benz Macau

Mercedes BenzGot the hotel issues sorted out and although I don’t have access to my computer with the pictures on it, I just wanted to say how amazing the performance in Macau felt. We spent one day choreographing everything, one day helping them set it all up, and one day for the rehearsals and the performance. And we nailed it! All of the boxes were close together for this one as we had a smaller room to do it in, but I think that ended up making it easier for everyone to see. We did a bit of three person choreography and a bit of two person with one resting and the combination worked amazingly.

The entrance was my favorite part, we came in from the ceiling down! You’ll have to wait and see the video for the full effect but it was quite the impressive entrance believe me. I should get going, but I’ll get the pictures up and more info in LA most likely, which means another fun 14 hour flight! ;)

Macau Sucks

Shit, apparently we aren’t paid for tonight and everyone but Frosti’s card doesn’t work! So we’re camped out in his room attempting to fend off housekeeping, armed only with our K-Swiss and nothing to eat except a moldy banana and $10 beers, until later tonight when The Money comes in from China. We were supposed to check out a measly 6 hours ago and apparently they feel we should should pay or something, all that is certain is that the pounding on our door can only mean one thing, it is time to take a stand and fight for our honor…THIS IS SPARTA!!!

Sandy Beaches and Giant Buddhas

I’m lagging behind on the blog front and I apologize. Our focus recently is on our upcoming performance in Macau, but we have been doing some touristy type stuff in the meantime. Tuesday we went down to a place called Stanley to check out the beaches and stores. Not much there really but some good time to relax. Wednesday (today for me still), we went to Lantau to check out the largest outdoor bronze statue of Buddha…it’s a really big statue…not much else to say.

We spent a lot of time today re-choreographing our performance for Macau.
